Perfect for knifemaking

These tongs are easily 5 star tongs. The quality is very high, and they are perfect for holding the blade of knives. The V tapers within the jaws of the tongs provide great versatility; these tongs can handle bar stock or knives of varying sizes. I ordered the 1.5" set, and am now buying a pair of 1" and 2" because they are that good.
