Small Scoop Chisel

The small scoop chisel is a butcher ground blade forged around a roughly 3/4” radius. It can be used in chasing to draw scrolls and circles. For carving, it can be used on one side for a troughing action or flipped over to the other side to cut in and push up a curve, such as the gills or scale on a fish or dragon, or to give the representation of folds in long flowing hair.
