Czech Balanced Hammer

First off, this hammer is fantastic. It comes ready to swing, with not corners in need of dressing. My only qualm (reason for 4 stars, not 5) is that the hammer is actually 1.5kg (3.3lbs) instead of the listed 3lbs. I'm guessing that the 2lb hammer is 1kg (2.2lbs) as well. The handle is well sized and has enough material so that it can be sanded down to your liking if need be. It has some sort of clear coat on it. I'm not sure what it is, but you may want to sand it down. Overall, this is an excellent hammer, especially for the price.

Fantastic hammer, love it. Handle finish is slightly lighter than shown in picture. There is just a metal wedge in the top of the handle, and not some wax or epoxy, I appreciate the simplicity of quality construction not over done. I was recently shopping for a very similar hammer for 210$ at a local shop, this is just as good, and beautiful.
