Plistix 900F® 2 pounds
Plistix 900F® is a general service coating that not only
protects and extends the life of the refractory, but greatly improves fuel
efficiency as well, and minimizes the health concerns of airborne ceramic
fibers.The temperature grade rating for this product is 3400°F.
It can be applied directly over ceramic
blanket and other refractory materials.
(Note: The Plistix 900F cannot be applied on the Duraboard)
This is a great substitute for ITC 100 at a
much more reasonable price.
Plistix 900F
is in a powder form and is mixed with water to the consistency of a thin
milkshake and is applied to the refractory by dabbing it on with a paint brush.
Brushstrokes tend to pull the fibers apart.
A pound of Plistix 900F applied at a 1/16 of an inch thickness will
cover approximately 1.2 square feet.
