TC work of art
Being relatively new to the Blacksmith scene, only about a year seriously and having an old 1830’s mouse hole anvil ( pre - Pritchell ) for about the same time .
Taking a few classes from a local historical forge ,
And having some “s “ hooks with a twist under my belt ., and having the opportunity to volunteer as a blacksmith apprentice ( I’m a 55 year old guy who has been in the building trade my whole adult life )
I find myself with the desire to get back to basics and learn nail making .
The hammer control and discipline needed to become efficient at it will allow me to use these skills for my new chapter of colonial reenactment at the Brandywine Battlefield Forge .
After doing my homework for a header ..
I came across the name Tom Clark.
As it worked out , I liked the idea of having a tool that will be able to be handed down through generations .
This nail header is amazing, the glow of the tool steel with its cinnamon brown sheen and the sheer heft and finish will make it a fine addition to my endeavors.
I highly recommend it to the novice and pro alike.
Thanks
Nick B.
