Open Mouth Tong - Open Mouth has a smooth flat grip surface that begins with an opening to more position thicker metal prior to clamping down. Closed Mouth has smooth flat grip surfaces that are closed and provide a wider area used for thiner material. It also has long 14" reins and ball ends.
